-The cost of building will go up when an old structure has to be removed.
-Vail & Aspen are Much More Expensive then Breckenridge and Keystone.
- Over 79 Million Baby Boomers are reaching 62 years old
- Most "Boomers" were born between 1946 to 1954
- They don't want to deal with natural disasters in retirement
(Earth Quakes, Floods, Fires, Tornados, Hurricanes, Ice Storms)
-We are seeing more and more people with AZ and CO homes
- They want to be near their children, or have a place their children will visit
(Many of their children have left home for Jobs)
- They want to be near their friends who have retired and moved
- Where will they decide to buy homes?
- Will they have to compete with foreigners with stronger currency?
- Aren't there Millions of Baby Boomers Overseas?
(After all, is was World War II ... and they started families too)
- What about "Generation Y" ?
- Did you know there are more of them than the Baby Boomers?
- They will be inheriting trillions of dollars
- Where will they go for Jobs?
- Won't they be competing for Housing too?
The Housing Market will not recover evenly across the Nation.
Some areas are poised for a faster recovery than others.
Sunbelt states and vacation destination states will outperform most states.
Summit County has not experienced a decrease in market values.
